Location

Riverwalk on the Apalachee is located in northern Morgan County, along the Apalachee River in the township of Bishop, GA. The neighborhood is off Price Mill Road, approximately 3.5 miles from Highway 441 and 5 miles from Highway 83.

Driving Directions

From Athens: Travel south on US 441, through Watkinsville, to Bishop, GA. Look for the Golden Pantry on your right. Continue south and look for a white building on your right. This building sits on the corner of US 441 and Price Mill Road. Turn right onto Price Mill Road and continue for approximately 3 1/2 miles. Cross the bridge at the Apalachee River and the entrance to the neighborhood is just on the other side at the top of the hill on your right.

From Madison: Travel north on US Highway 83 from the center of downtown Madison, Georgia. Follow US Highway 83 to Price Mill Road which “splits” from Highway 83 at a 45 degree angle approximately 13 miles north of Madison. If you end up in Bostwick, GA, you missed the turn. Continue on Price Mill until you arrive at the entrance of Riverwalk on your left. If you cross the Apalachee River you have gone too far.

From Atlanta: Depart Atlanta on US 20 toward Augusta. Take exit 441 which is US 441. Travel north on US 441 toward Athens, GA. Look for the Bishop, GA, city marker, and look for a white building on your left–it is situated on US 441 and Price Mill Road. Turn left onto Price Mill Road and travel 3 1/2 miles, over the Apalachee River to the entrance of Riverwalk.
